Celebration Sunday // Honoring Pastor Tim - [Notes]

For nearly 40 years, Pastor Tim has faithfully led the way at Chestnut Ridge Church, spreading the Gospel and touching countless lives not only in the greater Morgantown area and West Virginia—but around the globe. Sunday, August 25, is a day we've set aside to express our thanks to Pastor Tim, celebrate his ministry, and look forward to all God has for his future!

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? A GOOD SERVANT OF JESUS CHRIST

If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, nourished by the words of the faith and the good teaching that you have followed.  But have nothing to do with pointless and silly myths. Rather, train yourself in godliness.  For the training of the body has limited benefit, but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance. For this reason we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.11 Command and teach these things. Don’t let anyone despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love,, in faith, and in purity.
