In a world where the very concept of truth is under attack, we are called upon to know the truth and be able to defend it (Jude 1:6). The truth can impact our relationship with God, and it can lead to true freedom (John 8:32). Unfortunately, many in our society no longer value the truth, and they don't know where to turn in order to find it. What are some ways in which our culture has strayed from the truth and how can we graciously stand firm as we face those in our society who look to undermine it? Join us this week for our new series!
Today's Takeaway // Jesus alone is qualified to be the Savior of the world.
Jesus alone is qualified to be the Savior of the world.
"Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it. How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it."

- Because Jesus is both human and divine, He alone is able to bridge the gap between God and us.
- Because Jesus was sinless, He was able to pay the penalty for our sin.
- Because Jesus defeated death, He alone can offer us eternal life.
- Because Jesus is both human and divine, He alone is able to bridge the gap between God and us.
For there is one God and one mediator between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, Himself human.

"Now listen: You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will call His name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end." Mary asked the angel, "How can this be, since I have not been intimate with a man?" The angel replied to her: "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy One to be born will be called the Son of God."

Discussion Questions //
1. What do you think most people think we need to do in order to get right with God? What is wrong with some of these ideas?
2. How would you respond to someone who said, “All religions lead to God?” Can you think of any Bible verses that would challenge this statement?
3. Read John 14:6 and Acts 4:12. Why is Jesus the only way to God? Do you think there could have been any other way to save us apart from Christ? Explain your answer.
4. Read Luke 1:31-35 and John 1:29-30. What are some things we learn about Jesus from these verses? Why do you think an incarnation was necessary if Jesus was to become the Savior of the world?
5. Why is it important that people realize who Jesus is and what He came to do? What responsibility do you think we have to spread the Gospel to others?
