If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

The eleven disciples traveled to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had directed them. When they saw him, they worshiped, but some doubted. Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about 3,000 people were added to them. And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to the prayers.

Applications //

Place your faith in Christ. You can call out to God in your own words and express your faith to Him that you believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose from the dead.
Be baptized. If you have placed your faith in Christ – today – 1 year ago – or even longer – this is your next step. We will have our next baptism Sunday in early fall and you can register about two months in advance for that. So keep an eye out for it and take that step.
Give God Praise. A day like today is a miracle! Take time now – later on – this week – to give God praise for all that He has done and is doing. He is changing hearts and lives right in our midst!
