Succession Update // Terry McMillen

Dear friends,

As the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Chestnut Ridge Church, I and the Board want you to know that the pastoral transition is proceeding very well. The overall goal of the succession is for the DNA of Chestnut Ridge Church to remain unchanged, and specifically, that we continue to lead people to a growing relationship with God and others every day. We are pleased with the current atmosphere of peace and unity among the pastors and staff. It is a testimony to God's blessing upon Chestnut Ridge Church.

Because of Pastor Tim's unwavering devotion over nearly 40 years, the good news of Jesus' gift of salvation has spread, and Chestnut Ridge Church has impacted countless lives. Under Pastor Josh's leadership, our church will continue to fulfill our mission and carry forward Pastor Tim's vision.

The Board and I are excited to celebrate Pastor Tim's faithfulness to Chestnut Ridge Church and pray over him and his family as they move on to the next stage of their lives. Pastor Tim is looking forward to enjoying some well-deserved time off and participating in some hobbies he enjoys. However, he will remain involved by investing in Pastor Josh and our church.

We hope you will continue to pray for our church, Pastor Tim, Pastor Josh, and their families, and join us on August 25 to celebrate Pastor Tim and all God has in store for him and his family's future!
