Prayer Plan // December 2022

A simple, predictable, monthly prayer list to engage, encourage and equip our church to pray.

We all have key relationships in our lives; relationships that are highly important to us. Unfortunately, it can be easy to go through our days and weeks forgetting to pray for those people in our lives. One helpful way to combat this is to be intentional about praying through our key relationships, like Paul was. We see this in the opening of his letter to the Philippian church in Philippians 1:3-4, “I give thanks to my God for every remembrance of you, always praying with joy for all of you in my every prayer." Set aside time each day to pray through your key relationships — God, family, neighbors, friends, co-workers, etc.

Each day, we want our church to come together and lift up specific requests to God:
  • Pray for your family as you all prepare for the Christmas season.
  • Pray for opportunities to share Christmas joy with your friends.
  • Pray for opportunities to love and serve your neighbors.
  • Pray for your co-workers as they navigate this season with work and family responsibilities.

Take time to read and reflect on the Advent devotional each day. Take time to see the hope, faith, joy and peace that comes through the gift of our Savior, Jesus!
