A Message from Adam & Nicki Etris

We’ve been trying to figure out how to put 22 years into words, and honestly, we don’t think we can.

When we first became part of this church, we never could have imagined how much this place and these people would become a part of our lives. You have been there for us through so many seasons—through our young marriage, through having our three children, through celebrations and hard times, and through countless ordinary moments that somehow became really important ones.

We’ve worshiped together, served together, laughed together, cried together, and watched our kids grow up surrounded by people who loved them.

And there have been some pretty amazing memories along the way—the epic songs, the ridiculous skits and videos, and all the crazy things we’ve done on that stage. Nicki has gotten to do some pretty silly things up in Ridge Kids over the years just to make kids laugh and hopefully help them learn a little more about our God. And honestly, we wouldn’t trade those memories for anything.

Getting to sing, serve, create, and do life alongside so many of you has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives. And while saying goodbye to this staff and this church building is difficult, we know that the true gift of these 22 years has never been the building itself. It has been the people, the memories, the shared faith, and the countless ways God has used this community to shape our family.

Thank you for loving us, supporting us in so many different ways, believing in us, and becoming such an important part of our family’s story. We may be leaving this place, but we are not leaving empty-handed. We carry your kindness, your prayers, your laughter, and 22 years of memories with us wherever we go.

We love you, and we will always be grateful that, for so much of our lives, we got to call this church home. And most of all, we trust that God is faithful in every season. We’re excited to see where He leads us next, and we pray that wherever we go, we’ll continue to love Him, serve Him, and point people toward Him in every way we can.
