Singing as Gratitude
In Week 2 of "Why We Sing," Pastor Josh explores Psalm 100 and reminds us that singing is more than music—it’s a way to thank God for His blessings. He is our Creator and Shepherd, and our gratitude brings joy to His heart.
With The Ridge Online, you can join us every Sunday live at 9a and 11a, and our gatherings are available on demand starting at 2p! Join us at https://theridge.church/messages

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
1. If you could see any musical artist or band from the past or present, who would you choose and why?
2. This week, Pastor Josh shared that “We sing to thank God for His blessings.” Read Psalm 100, then reflect on this question: How does singing our thanks to God differ from praying our thanks to Him?
3. If you were to literally “Count Your Blessings” from God over the course of your life, how many do you think there would be? What are some blessings you are most thankful for today?
4. Close by singing or praying your thanks to God. Remember, when we do this, it blesses His heart! If you’d like to sing as a group, consider a song like “The Lord Will Provide” or “Gratitude.”
