Money's Controlling My Life
Continuing our "I Might Have a Problem" series, Pastor Josh explores our complicated relationship with money—and how it often reveals deeper spiritual issues. Through Biblical truth and practical steps, we learn how to honor God by how we give, save, and live with what He’s entrusted to us.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
1. What was your first paying job? Do you remember how it felt to get your first paycheck? Has your view of money changed since then?
2. Give Generously. Read Malachi 3:10 and 2 Corinthians 9:6–8. What do these verses say about why we give and how we should give? Why do you think it’s a struggle for many people to give generously?
3. Save Wisely. Read Proverbs 6:6–8 and Proverbs 21:20. How do these verses highlight the wisdom of saving and building margin? Why do you think it’s difficult for most people to save wisely?
4. Live Within Your Means. Read Philippians 4:11–13. What does Paul’s example teach us about contentment, even in times of lack? Why do you think it’s a struggle for many people to be content and live within their means?
5. Honor God in how you give, save, and live with His money. Take a moment to reflect on that statement, and then discuss:
– What’s one small step you can take to give more generously?
– What’s one small step you can take to save more wisely?
– What’s one small step you can take to live within your means?
