Equipped to Multiply

Oct 12, 2025    Andrew Archer

Just like a championship football team relies on every player to fulfill their role, the church is called to work together in unity and purpose. This Sunday's message explores Ephesians 4:1–16, showing how each of us is equipped to serve, grow in maturity, and build up the body of Christ as we live out our shared mission.

With The Ridge Online, you can join us every Sunday live at 9a and 11a, and our gatherings are available on demand starting at 2p! Join us at https://theridge.church/messages

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

1. Have you ever witnessed a company, or operation, etc that has just impressed you? One with many parts and functions that are all united in playing their role for the good of the overall goal?

2. Read Eph 4:1-3. When looking at the ways in which Paul describes “walking worthy” in what ways do you have room to grow?

3. Why do you think Paul emphasizes unity so much in this passage? What does it look like to pursue and maintain unity in the church?

4. Read Ephesians 4:11-12. Have you ever thought about the fact that the primary job of church leaders is not to do the ministry themselves but rather to care for and equip the saints for the ministry? What difference does that make in how the church should operate?

5. Pray for our church to continue to grow in maturity in the love of Christ that will lead to greater unity and a more fulfilled mission.
